@saaandgirl2003 I've been in this business for years. I can spot a counterfeit YETI from a mile away. If it is not one of the standard YETI Duracoat color, then it's either powder coated, painted or hydro-dipped. All of these would cover the YETI stamp at the bottom of the cup. If it is a custom YETI and it shows the stamp outside of the coating, it is not authentic. I can refer you to authorized YETI dealers that truly customize their cups if you would like.

@saaandgirl2003 Dick's sells YETI Duracoat tumblers. Those come in 6 colors and they have stainless steel bottoms and rims. The counterfeit ones are coated all over and then they have the stamp outside of the color.
If you're looking for a custom color (purple, yellow, ombre or others), powder coating would be sprayed onto the cup and it would cover up the bottom stamp. You would barely be able to see where it says "Designed in Austin,...", etc.

@saaandgirl2003 Those aren't colors that are typically counterfeited but based on the pricing, it would be safe to assume that they are not authentic. They do look like they have been powder coated but even a YETI dealer wouldn't be able to offer them at that price. They are likely counterfeit stainless ones that have been powder coated.

@saaandgirl2003 I just looked again. If you look much further back, they were previously offering colors that are the typical counterfeit ones. They are definitely counterfeit. It's so sad to see that business going to dishonest sellers and buyer getting ripped off. I'm glad that you are doing your research.

Powder coating is a dry powder that is sprayed on electrostatically using special equipment and then cured by baking. It is very durable and holds up well over time. If you want a custom YETI, find an authorized dealer that powder coats or hydro-dips. I only see a handful on Poshmark that are authentic.

@saaandgirl2003 No site is completely safe. If you look at the replicas sold on sites like Aliexpress, you'll at least know which patterns are not authentic. The stamp on the bottom outside of the color or pattern is the easiest way to tell but some replicas have stainless bottoms. All reputable sites will refund your money if you receive a counterfeit item.

@saaandgirl2003 Yes and YETI Brand Protection. People don't realize the harm that they are causing. They are not just stealing revenue from YETI but also greatly impacting employment rates...not to mention safety concerns. Do people really want to drink from a cup that could be harmful to their health just to save a few dollars?

@kpatchen1 Thank you for pointing out the counterfeit “Feti” I think it’s funny that people are selling these fake ones for more than an authentic one goes for. These people list the original price of a 30oz. Tumbler for $60 when it’s really $34.99 on the website!
