veronikafashion Welcome to poshmark! I agree with the other ladies, you will find a lot of nice, supportive people on here. It can be pretty slow in the beginning, but it should pick up as you get more followers. In addition to the suggestions above, i found a trick for increasing followers. When you find a closet you like, follow everyone who followed that closet. A lot of them will follow you back!

veronikafashion @10tyler23 i haven't tried eBay yet. My MIL used to sell on there about 10 years ago. It looked like a lot of work. On here, it is so easy because you don't have to figure out shipping or anything. Were you successful on there? Maybe i'll ask you for tips sometime :). Most of the stuff i am selling were my mom's (or mine), so i already i already know how old most of them are. You can check for tips online for dating items. My grandmother passed away and we discovered that she had an unusual habit of buying two of every dress or outfit then she'd wear one and store one ... well let's just say the stored ones remained just that until we started cleaning out things. Bags and bags of brand new with tags clothes dating back to the 40's !

veronikafashion @10tyler23 sounds like a gold mine to me! A lot of people here would agree LOL! As long as you have the room to store them I would definitely try to sell them. I know how much work cleaning items can be. It really is a labor of love. I have started using Oxy clean which works well on some items.

veronikafashion @10tyler23 I am also selling a lot of brand new with tags vintage items. They came from a store that went out of business and the owners didn't want to throw out anything that didn't sell. And of course my pack rat mom had to save all of it. So some of the items do have flaws, which is why they didn't sell.
