Hi! I'm Kimi..I’m 20 and love fashion and thrifting and I’m excited to share all my best finds with you. I humbled by how much everyone likes my tumblers…I truly love making and designing them with you. I am so grateful for all the love and support on Poshmark…So graduation is over … and on to my big girl job…I am so lucky and Blessed to be so young and to find a career with the Federal BOP….and even though I’m not getting as much of my posh time I still love it so much…my mom is helping with my clothes so orders go out fast and I still get to do my tumblers for all my posh people (cause my craft room is my happy place) Thank you all for all my Posh Friends..this is the best and most welcoming community 🥰

findsbysheila @kaptivatingkimi Thanks for the response! Im still trying to figure things out as I go. I’ve made a few mistakes w/ pricing thankfully they weren’t too major. I’ve gotten better with my research but still have trouble making offers to shoppers. Going too high & lose a sale/ going too low & take a hit. Sales have been somewhat steady- I really enjoy packing the items & choosing the perfect “thank you” gift based on the purchase. Thank you again for the response and I’m so happy to meet you!!

kaptivatingkimi @findsbysheila well your closet looks great.. like a pro..I have found that pricing too high to start you don’t get a lot of traffic on the item…but always price with a little wiggle room so people feel good about the deal….esp nwt tags stuff… vintage stuff you can move round with price more depending on c.o.g… so you always have to be mindful… I always source thinking can I make a profit on this -20% and - shipping…you always have to figure that $8 bucks in to your “buy or leave it”

I’m baffled at the amount of items we have that still have the tags on. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have ran across a few items here & there that were profitable so I did pick those up. May I ask where you like to source your items from? My area literally only has a GW & they really jack up the price 😩 I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate all of your expertise! Thank you!

findsbysheila @kaptivatingkimi lucky girl! My GW wants almost market value for anything that would be a good find. Have you ever been to any of the bin stores I keep hearing about? I think it’s mainly Amazon returns- Of course the nearest one to me is over 2 hrs away. But since I’ll eventually run out of personal belongings to sell I’m seriously considering making the drive- I also thought about hitting the GW in the ritzy part of the city. It’s still a bit of a drive but it might be worth it.

kaptivatingkimi @findsbysheila so I hear all these great things about the bins,..the ones near me are just the stuff that has dated out of the reg goodwill stores…so it went thru like two 5 week cycles and then it goes to the bins to die..lol…it’s kinda trash…I won’t return..our reg gw are really well run and clean which is my number 1 requirement lol.. just watch for sale days…follow them on social media so you know the best days to shop. 😀

I’ve always had pretty luck finding hidden gems for myself- Fingers crossed I can add more inventory to my closet. How do you keep track of everything? Is a spreadsheet a good idea or is there something better to use?

kitkat0913 Hi! I gave a tumbler to my girlfriend for her birthday just recently. She can't even open it. She even puts the cap under hot water, which loosens up the cap, but that doesn't even do it. She is younger and has strong hands. I feel for the money I paid for it, I would really appreciate it if you could replace it since this was a gift.

kaptivatingkimi @kitkat0913 the cap has a rubber ring where you push down or pull up…it’s not a twist cap…I would try cold water over hot water as cold shrinks and heat will make it swell… you have had the cup for 5 months…so it wouldn’t be a warranty issue… things like putting it in dishwasher or leaving it in hot cars can cause issues that are out of my control.
