duchess1960 The heel fell off... I got them yesterday and they looked even better then the pic, I tired them on and while I was walking the heel came off and a lot of the rubber... I took a video of it and pics.... I think it was dry rotten or water got into the heel. I didn't want to put it on your comment section...

duchess1960 I received a pair of boots that I bought from Poshmark yesterday too and I'm going to have my shoe man do some work on them... I'll take the shoes to him and have me give is professional opinion but I am almost positive that water got into the heel and caused it to rot. So everything looked good until they were worn. I don't want trouble, I really like the site and I REALLY wish this didn't happen but I can't keep something that I never got a chance to enjoy.

haijilly @duchess1960 the heel fell off???????? they are exactly how they are pictured in my pictures & the flaws are all stated..... so i have no idea how that might have happened.

duchess1960 They arrived exactly like the picture until I tired them on. Again, I think water got in the sole and caused it to rot! I am almost 60 years old and I have NEVER EVER had a heel to do this. the rubber that came off feels brittle and it was everywhere I walked throughout the house another hassle (sigh)I'm not blaming and I hate it happened ... The sole of these shoes or shoe has been in water or the air part of the shoe had a hole in it and water seeped in that way.(sigh) Look I don't know!

duchess1960 I'm going to take them a repair shop when I take my boots Saturday... I want them to look at the shoe and give me their professional opinion.That will make me feel better. I strongly believe that water caused the sole to rot and when looking at them you couldn't see that but as soon as the sole hit the ground it was too brittle and came off... but the damage didn't start here it happened over time but I don't think it will take a PhD to analyze this situation, so i'll know for sure Saturday!

haijilly @duchess1960 well they are not mine, they're not my size. i've never worn them. it's fine i guess that you opened a case but i'm not sure what it will do because i didn't even know about this and i disclosed exactly how they looked and all the flaws that came with it.... sorry....

duchess1960 THEY are yours & for God’s sake why would I lie about this? WOW, how quickly you deny what you sent! I almost didn't say anything because I didn't want to go through this but it’s the principle! These shoes have moisture damage, looking at them now, the other heel is brittle too.I'll take them to a shoe repair shop & the professional will give me answers.

duchess1960 Verifying that these are the ones that you sent is the easy part.Takin time out of my Saturday to prove they were damaged when they arrived is the irritating part! Having someone suggest I am disingenuous about a shoe that I bought in good faith is disappointing.
