@leebeegood Wonderful to meet you too, Lisa. One of the groups doesn't even start to share until 5pm and they all end at midnight so pretty flexible. Some of the PFFs will put you on their tag lists to get info on upcoming parties and follow groups...SO helpful! FYI...sharing is easier from your comp. App takes a little longer.

You've come a very long way!! I love the way the maternity clothing is displayed. It makes me want to be pregnant again lol. Most of the time when you see maternity stuff on here, it's laid flat and always bumpy. Your's displays the beauty of the clothing as it would fit on a beautiful pregnant belly. It's a lot of work to get pictures, edit, do the descriptions. Everything is a process. You've made an amazing closet and I'm so happy to see you expanding.

But I have a whole closet to share - just trying to find the right mannequin or dress form first so I can direct some photo shoots before I post. I work in marketing and just can't post everyday wear until my clothes are modeled on a form and look fantastic. :) What are these groups and games you speak of?!

@mattis728 Well welcome to Posh! For mannequins and dress forms, craigs list and letgo (app) are great! Sunlight!...so important! Now you need more exposure for your closet...that's where share groups and follow games help. Certain Poshers have Tag Lists and they will notify you when new Follow Games are posted. Share groups give your items more attention in the feed because your items are shared to all of their followers. I will tag you on a few listings so you can see what i am talking about.

@jerseyginger my first party was an afternoon one. Right when makeup was a new thing at the beginning of the year. It wasn't overwhelming. Trying to find compliant closets with compliant makeup, that was a challenge at that point lol. I'm so glad i had that practice. I think i would've had a full blown panic attack if my first party was a night one! You did great!

@jerseyginger oh yes, your feed blows up! All the last minute ladies asking for host picks. I enjoy giving first host picks to new closets. I found it hard to find new closets that were serious about poshing. But when i did and they got a host pick, it was very gratifying. They're so appreciative and excited!

@jerseyginger and why is everyone congratulating me? Lol! It took me 4 months before i got my first. But even then i thought that each host picked an item. Not each picks 100 items. So i went from jumping up and down to, oh well then this isn't AS special as i thought it was. It was still amazing and i was still appreciative but i learned more that night about posh than i knew before lol

@jediladycat Thank you so much! Of course!...ask me anything! lol I take all my pictures with my iPhone and then use PhotoGrid for side by side shots. Natural light is the #1 most important thing! To the left of my mannequin is a large window so I can get plenty of light. This time of year is tough because the sunlight is just different....it comes in at an angle and just isn't as bright.

@jediladycat To solve this problem I adjust the "brightness" after the picture is taken...just a little to brighten things up but not so much that it alters the color of the item I am listing.
