Hi, I fgured out how to post n your page, finally! I see you are looking for a size 12 petal pink Davids dress for a pregnant bridesmaid. I am also looking for one with no luck. Our wedding is June 17th. When is yours? Wondering if we could share a dress, if we find one! Every dress I go look at, you've made a comment...lol. Let me know and thanks bunches!

Hi there. I dont really know how this works either! I am inca wedding on June 10th and I will be 26 weeks pregnant. My pre-pregnancy size was a formal dress size 8 and i have no clue how that translates to mid pregnancy size. I did find a fairly cheap size 8 that i really liked and the girl ensured me that it should be fine because one of her co-bridesmaids in the same dress, same size was 25 weeks pregnant.

Unfortunantly when i got it in the mail it barely will fit over my hips let alone zip due to the under layers lol. But the dress was super cheap and I have a lovely (and very affordable) seamstress who is working her magic on it now. Shes going to take out the under laters and rebuild the skirt, then turn the back into a corsette with a removable back panel.

I dont know what pre-pregnancy size your girl is and how far along she will be, but i would say go up at least two sizes if shes 24+ weeks by the wedding bc its always easier to take it in. Im not sure the timing would be reasonable to try to share the dress considering the weddings are only a week apart. Im sorry.

Thanks for getting back to me. We have a size 10 dress available to us and I think we are going to try the same thing. Our bridesmaid will be around 8 months pregnant. Started out that we thought a size 10 would work, but panicking thinking we need a size 12. She was a very petite girl before so I'll tell her what your seamstress is doing. Thanks for all your input!

@jbrock58 oh wow, i cant imagine having to try to gyess that, im sure its stressful. Yeah, a corsette back will make all the difference because it can offer a HUGE amount of play in the size. I have to have a panel added just because its a super religious wedding and i cant have my back showing. But there are options. Your very welcome and best of luck!!
