beulahsplace OMG, KRISTEN! Your Heidi IS BEAUTIFUL and so SWEET looking! I’m a Weim FANATIC!! I’ve had at least one Weim since 1992 when I got my FIRST Weimaraner who was “NikeBordeauxValkyrie-Stafford!” She was my first MWSD (Medical Working Service Dog). She was alerting to Brain Waves at 6mo’sor sooner! She was smuggled into the Hospital & it was my R who told me what she was doing!

beulahsplace After we realized she was Alerting to my Brain Waves, she went through beg, Interm, & Advanced Obedience. We then attended a 𝘔𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭 Working Service Dog Training Camp which led to Licensure to Train MWSD’s. My NikeBordeaux was the Bomb! The most Loyal, smart, BEAUTIFUL F Weim I had ever seen! Truly,she stole my heart! She went EVERYWHERE w/me w/out exception other than when hospitalized over night!

beulahsplace I still grieve for my Nike Bordeaux! I have others I’ll tell you about another time I fostered & Rescued and my Sapphi #1,I bought from the same Breeder as Nike. She was a “litter load!” After a BIG SKATE/Run for her,she began to have a Heart Attack and stroke. I held her that sad sad day as she went to Heaven. She was only 11 mo old. She had a HUGELY OVERGROWN HEARTw/serious Systolic Murmer. I was aware of Murmer from my Vet but knew nothing of this heart disease

beulahsplace though which took her life! She had been DNA TESTED AND PROVED TO NOT BE RELATED TO NIKE AT ALL! So sad! I just lost my beloved MWSD Dylan-Boy Bordeaux just 5 weeks ago! I was blindsided & Grieving & despairing! He was only 10.4yoa! A very aggressive Cancer that took him in 4 wks! I knew nothing of it as he had wellness exam in Feb! I had him at home on Hospice once stabilized for 4 Days to say our Bye’s for now! Never! I knew and his sister and I held him while he went back to God!

beulahsplace I’ll never get over either of them,but Dylan was only 10, just Celebrated his B-Day oct 31st! “Remington ~Blue Ghost Bordeaux” came into my Life 2wks ago! He is a sweet,delightful,loving distraction from my Grief over Dylan. He has a back story, but complicated! Always wanted a Blue Weim.saw one in Portland that played with Nike a lot! Her BFF was a Rottweiler she swam with! LOL Dylanwasn’t a Swimmer butREMI IS, LOL. I’m @NikeBordeaux7 on IG! Follow me?

beulahsplace @kristhomp1 yes, they do! Sapphi was before I had Dylan, but 10 years 6 months was just waaay too young! How many Weimy have you had? I had two Weimy the last time and when I got NikeBordeaux, I had Miniature Schnauzers who helped to raise Nike. Dylan had his wife, Sapphi Bordeaux (#2) So, they helped to raise each other. My Italian Greyhound who was exceptionally bonded with Dylan is 9 yrs as of April and she wants as little to do with a Remi as possible! I hope she comes around

beulahsplace @kristhomp1 better over time! I’m like pin cushion!, I forgot just how much puppies bite with those pin teeth when not another sibling to work all of that aggressive play out with! I remember Nike Chewing badly into her two’sbut I made a mistake and never crate trained her! This guy is crate trained, but his puppy bites are killing me! He barked for the first time on Monday and three times since too! Remi is the pup in my Posher Pic!❤️🐾💜

beulahsplace @kristhomp1 yes, Weimy are very demanding dogs, for the most part! Mine all end up being very mellow BECAUSE that’s how I am and it’s just us as a Family! So, my Weimy have been Mellow except during play with Nike and now Remington. Both Nike and Remi are Swimmers, but Dylan just wanted to walk in water and was never really ball or toy crazy since a pup! He was far too young for that Cancer! Remington is a little pistol, but also can lay vey mellowly!

kristhomp1 @heatmil I had a yellow Lab, Penny, when I was younger, and lost my chocolate Lab, Ginger, a few years ago. They gave me such joy! They get sweeter and sweeter the older they get. I have a Weimaraner now, and it’s taken her 3 years to settle down!!! 😜

kristhomp1 @heatmil Hi! Minnie is around 14-15 yrs old! Her pup with the white hair ‘Puppy’ is almost 13! They are the SWEETEST! Someone dumped Minnie, pregnant, in our neighborhood 😥. But I’m so happy she found us! They’re older now and have NO PATIENCE with my 3 yr old gray dog🤣. Min and Pup don’t like to play with toys, but Santa brought their favorite doggie cookies and jerky treats! I hope Santa Paws came to your house, too! 🎄🐾

Poor Heidi..... my Ellie was 7 when we got Beau and would still play but when she hit her end at almost 12 she was quite the curmudgeon, so Minnie at 14 is entitled! I am glad she found you as well. I will never understand how anyone can be mean or rude to dogs. People, yes, because some are naughty, but not the fur babies 🐾❤️ and Santa Paws came to see Beau!!

heatmil @kristhomp1 God is good, more range of motion and less pain than before my hip replacement. Beau is so funny, he just sits next to the bed with his head laying right next to my leg, he guards me ❤️🐾😊
