hillmill61 I had not lost anyone so close to me b4 and didn't know how to get on top of the pain. A lovely lady explained to me that grief like this comes in waves...they wash over you and It feels like you will drown in sorrow, but, in time the waves grow further apart with less intensity. Finally, little ripples here and there.

simplejoes @hillmill61 I lost my daughter in 2007 and the waves are still crashing, then my brother passed- young and unexpectedly. The layers of pain continue to peel but the anger has lessened so that’s a good thing. I use to be so angry. Like sorrow the healing has also come in waves and I am experiencing what I never thought was possible- hope :)
