shopahoy2 Hi Kristen, I'm curious why you are interested in Banana Republic from those years! I was a huge BR fan - I lived in San Francisco and worked close to two stores and shopped there all the time. It was my favorite store. I'd keep the tags on in case they went on sale before I wore them and was always going back and forth. I particularly remember a light ice blue collection...I bought the sheath, pants, jacket, sweater ...almost everything in that color... And a plaid coat I wish I still had!

shopahoy2 I had to check my BR items and three are from those years. I'd have more but I've sold clothes at consignment shops throughout the years. I'm retired now so I rarely shop at BR these days and I'm trying to pare down my closet!

whitedove22 @shopahoy2 @shopahoy2 hi there! I worked at BR those years and I’m a very nostalgic 😊. I could never afford the things I wanted there on my retail salary, even with the discount. I get a kick out of seeing things from back then. It was a very interesting and good time in my life too. I would love to see what you have! I don’t remember that collection but it sounds beautiful.

whitedove22 @shopahoy2 I visited my store the other day and was very disappointed. The quality of the textiles and the craftsmanship has decreased greatly, and they’re still demanding the same price point. The items were beautiful when I was there. Anyway, thank you for your comment. It made me smile. 😊

shopahoy2 @whitedove22 I know what you mean by nostalgic! I get nostalgic over my clothes! They remind me of certain eras in my life. There are some clothes i remember and wish I still had just for the nostalgia. I think BR was more popular back then. They had beautiful things!! The lines at the cashier were always long! My items from those years are the brown V-neck sweater, blue cardigan and brown striped sweater.
