ksaunders014 Hi Kristin! Sorry to bother you but I saw you commented on a post for a Patagonia coat that it was a scam. I think I purchased a coat from a similar account. Do you know how the scam works? I’ve already reported it to Poshmark but want to make sure I don’t lose my money.

leatherandpine @ksaunders014 they send you an empty box, socks or label affixed to junk mail. You were not expecting that to be your coat so you don’t think anything of the random empty box junk mail socks received and then it shows to Poshmark that the order was received through the tracking on that and before you can figure out what happens it’s been three days and they get the money in an auto accept

ksaunders014 @4cornelia13 Thank you! That is what happened. They sent me a plastic bag with a piece of paper in it and tried to change my address on the shipping label so I wouldn’t even get it but luckily it was delivered to my mail box anyways. Poshmark is supposed to be giving me a refund. Thanks again for responding and calling out those posts as scams!
