burmanss Hey, I just wanted to let you know that the Birkin you bought is definitely fake. If you google "Hermes Birkin stamp guide", you'll find a ton of resources that show that they never made a bag with a T inside the square - the actual 2015 bags with the T stamp don't have a shape around the letter at all. I was going to leave a comment on the listing, but it got purchased before I could post lol.

claire_gianna Update on the birkin: the same seller listed it on Merc for sale again as "authentic" and when I messaged her asking about what happened when it was listed on posh, the listing magically disappeared 30 minutes later! Ug. Can't stand when people knowingly sell fakes🤦Glad you didn't get stuck with it

scbeard86 @kristinastep hey girl- just an FYI about posh authentication... it’s not great 😬 I always get my Hermès purchases authenticated by Bababebi as well, she authenticates Hermès for Christie’s. The bag is definitely not real, not only is there the issue with the date code, but birkin handles are made from 5 layers of leather and there’s no “tube” in the middle . My guess is that it’s a super fake and she was probably lied to, she sells great items so I don’t think she’d purposely sell a fake.
