The cap missing is shown on the pictures and the shoe is a vintage styled shoe.

The brushed look on the shoe was done by the manufacturer. It is not dirt. I would never ship a dirty shoe.

That being said, I am sorry you did not like the shoe but the shoe was clearly shown at all angles. These were very nice shoes with no flaws other than a missing cap. I am So sorry you were displeased.

@ggfritz I was not unhappy, but they were not what I expected. I did not remember the cap being gone. I tried to go back to look but could not. I did not realize the smudges were by the manufacturer and don’t remember seeing that on the pics. They are still very nice. Thank you.

I am glad you are not unhappy with your purchase! I've never received any lower than a 5 rating so so I was a bit shaken by that since I feel that they are such nice shoes. I have another similar pair so I decided to let them go.
