ellewatson13 I collect Angie's shoes and have 27 pairs of OOAS. 7 of them are Mr. Colins, in all different colorways 🙂 4 of those pairs are in the wide sizing. Wide is not rare, they started offering it a few years ago on nearly all of their almond last styles. All of my OOAS shoes were purchased directly from them. This is my first time attempting to purchase this brand from a third party.

ellewatson13 My confusion on your pricing is that, for the several years that I have been collecting them, I have never paid more than $335 for a pair of Mr. Colins (and that was the all gold pair, haha). I would be happy to share my receipts with you for proof! OOAS has AMAZING sales, as well as a teacher appreciation program.

And I already had 2 pairs with sparkly toe caps...but now I have an upcoming event that I need to attend and I think these would go nicely with what I intend to wear.

ellewatson13 I called OOAS to see if they have any hiding anywhere and while they are looking through their warehouse for me, I decided to check resale sites. While on the phone with me they reminded me that this style didn't sell well. I remember that. They marked them down to nearly $200 before they started selling.

As much as I want them for my event, the price is hard to stomach! Did you pay full price for them and are trying to recoup? Or were you just going off of what the Mr. Colin's are priced at when full sale?

I have about 7 pairs myself. :)) I can go back and look at what I paid for these (most likely with some discount but much more than $200, I wish, ha), but these are brand new and unworn. I can't lose money after Posh takes its 20 percent. I love the sparkly toe and am hesitant to let them go but I tend to wear my mid heels (Maisels and Buttons). What do you think is fair?

ellewatson13 @lourabee I’m waiting to hear back from OOAS on if they have found any. Anytime I’ve asked them in the past about a past season shoe, they’re usually able to find a pair. If they do, it’s a crazy steal. That being said, that’s no guarantee and you have the shoes in hand. I also appreciate your communication and willingness to engage in open discussion on them🙂 So I hope we could try to come to a mutual price here?

ellewatson13 @lourabee Brainstorming and I just thought of this! I’m not sure if you knew this…but OOAS will take back any unworn shoes that you purchased directly from them at any time, no matter how long it’s been. You can send them an email or call them and let them know you’ve never worn them, etc. They’ll either refund you or give you store credit that you could use on another style you might like to wear more🙂
