totopuff @toluvlaly That was Toto, my beloved boy who passed a year ago. I literally went off the rails. I was in the process of moving 1000 miles across the country from South Florida to come back home to Lexington Kentucky. When I got here I said I’m not going to be without a Shih Tzu for a week, I was finally able to find a breeder and I have a little Bella now who just turned a year old. I will have to post a picture of her❤️

So many years of happiness and memories for those painful moments of heartbreak at their end. But they love us to the end! And vice versa 💞!! I’m so glad you were able to get Bella. Although a different dog, the love is just as strong. My little guy in the pic is like your Bella ☺️

totopuff @toluvlaly It broke my heart when I lost him because he was only 7-1/2 years old. One day he was running like crazy, the next day he was in kidney failure. I cried rivers and couldn’t stop. I thank God for Bella, she is now my love. I still grieve over Toto but the love has transferred to her. I thank God every day for her!🐶❤️

totopuff @toluvlaly Normally, I rescue. I bought Bella, either way I believe that you’re rescuing them. When she was 8 weeks she was a very dark brindle. She is almost Toto’s color and has several of his traits and idiosyncrasies! She is my heart!❤️
