My name is Laura, and I love all things pretty and sparkly. Red lipstick and stilettos are my jam, and bows and oxfords are my obsession. I needed to clean out my closet - and so did my mom, so most of the items here are from one our closets.
Besides that, I love all things creative. I’m a designer. So posh is a creative outlet. Also, I’m obsessed with dogs...especially mine, all 150 lbs. of her! ☺️

@laurahiccups hey sorry I missed this, so many notifications in my feed! I didn't know either until someone told me! I just sent an email to posh support saying I wanted to apply, gave some background about my business & goals on posh as well, of course it's up to you what kind of detail you want to go into. I think they mostly look at how active you are and whether you are compliant, etc.

I got a reply that they would put me into the list for consideration and got an email less than a month later that I was approved, but I've heard others say it can take up to 6 months, I think it depends how backed up they are at the time. I couldn't believe how easy it is! I would do it asap 😊

You just follow the rules on the game and then you can tag any pffs of your own that you know will be okay with participating as well. @el_chilton I'd go ahead and send in to be a Suggested User and a Party host! That'll get you more followers, & it takes a long time to do both, so going ahead and sending it in is a good idea. I submitted for both of them in June, and I still haven't heard back. But overall, your closet is fantastic! ❤

@reepie Ha! During Posh Parties, which happen everyday 4x a day, you can share your items directly to the posh party. For each party there are hosts, and they chose so many items and share them to a separate part of the Posh Party (Usually when you "enter" the party there are tabs at the top of your screen, that say 'Main', 'NWT', 'Designer', and 'Host Picks'. So if a host picks one of your items it will be shared to the Host Picks section.

@reepie Basically, what I do, is whenever I have time, I would go to the upcoming parties and click on all the hosts and go to their closets. I would follow them and share from there closets, and if they had a post advertising the party, saying they are looking for host picks, I would comment and see if they would check out my closet!

@reepie Generally when they pick your item for a host pick, they'll comment on the item saying they picked it for a host pick, and you'll get a notification for that. If for some reason they don't comment to say something, people usually congratulate you for your host pick by commenting on your item, so that will let you know as well. No problem! Haha, I'm glad, and you're most welcome!

@reepie Yes! Most people who host will create a listing advertising the party in their closets, and I usually scroll through, find that listing and comment on it. Sometimes they'll also detail what they would like you to do in the description; some just want you to comment on that listing, some want you to tag them in one of your listings, etc. It all depends on the person.

@reepie Also, some of them will pick from the Main page during the Posh Party, so it can be helpful to share your items to the party. Generally the Posh Party at 7pm PST (9pm CST) has the most people, so that's a good one to try to get a host pick for/share to, because you'll get the most people seeing your items! And, as you grow your following, sometimes you won't have to really comment on the hosts so much, because they may already know about your closet, so that's fun!
