The more eyes on your items the more likely they sell. A LOT of followers helps to since that's who sees your shares. Sharing other closets will bring most Poshers back here ti return the favor (and maybe even buy!)!!❣

vettnerscloset You are very welcome!!! I would be happy to share my tips with you. There are 3 basic tips. First you will want as many followers as possible. The reason you want to have more followers are when you share items it send them out to your followers feed. Second share you your items in your closet 3-4 times per day not just during parties. This increased my sales a lot.

lmpurcell Thanks so much for the tips! Appreciate the advice. I try to share at least 1 to 3 items from everyones closet now that I know more of what I am doing. :) Took a lot of navigating around the site to figure it all out. Still don't quite know how people get so many graphics etc., in their closets or the perfect pictures like they were professionally shot with the designers name etc. Maybe its available in the boutique? Thanks again!! You've been very helpful! :)

It is right across from the Louvre. And the other Museum post all the impressionist works which is so wonderful. It's all walkable and a short distance from each other. The one picture in the window is from Monet's house Gardens in giverny.

lmpurcell And yes the clock is from the or say where all the impressionist paintings are. Make sure you buy a museum pass you can have it as many days as you want. It gets you into all the museums and you don't have to wait in long lines. If you just walk up to the Louvre you will have to wait in a long long line that takes forever. The museum pass is very slick and gets you in a lot quicker there still may be a line but it's not remotely as bad

I think Posh makes things so easy. The more you share the more sales you will make. people have success on eBay but its not for me. Sometimes I have tons of sales and then nothing for a couple of days. Share to parties and 3 times a day to followers. Go to the feed and share others closets! It will work! 😁👍🌸❤️

You do not use the "to Likers" you actually drop the price permanently by 10% or more and it will automatically give your customers $4.99 shipping. You do not pay for the shipping $1.49 which is nice. And people love the shipping discount. Does that help??? Welcome to Poshmark! I try to help in any way!

sparklestars8 @lmpurcell How many likes is a lot of likes ? The most I have is 30 and many are 10 and the rest are under 10. When you say you drop throughout the day, do you mean you keep dropping by 10% more than once?

lmpurcell No I only drop the price once in the day. But I choose different items to drop 30 is a lot of likes and they are probably waiting for a price drop. But I drop to even 5 people especially if its been on a while. Its really all your choice in if you feel you want to drop on certain items so they sell quicker or you feel you price is really fair and you want to wait a while.

lmpurcell @erceliz the waist is 28 in, and armpit to armpit in the bust area is 36 in. I am a 34b in the top fits me nicely however I have a big caboose so that doesn't fit me very well and a little bit of a tummy. But honestly you should probably go for the small if that's the one you wanted. I don't want you to receive it and be disappointed in the size.

lmpurcell @3leggedfashions of course! I have one medium sized window in the room that I shoot. I think natural light is super important. We also changed out the light bulbs in the ceiling if you go to any Target or whereever they have bulbs that are outdoor daylight bulbs. It takes out all the yellow of a normal warm light. And is a cooler light. Probably a home Depot or something would have them as well.

I always go by discounts depending on the brand, quality (if there are any issues with the item) and how long I have had it listed. I feel your Coach scarf if its in great condition that is fairly low. Some people take advantage and low ball which I will counter but most are fair. I guess it just depends on the item.😃

checkedskipper @lmpurcell used to be an old rock quarry; and they created this incredible 55 acres of garden with 900 varieties of plants! 50 gardeners to take care of it! Was nearly there 2 years ago, when I was up in Bellingham, WA! 😘🦋

lmpurcell @sarahs567 Good morning! Your closet looks great! You will get there. Follow other people and they will follow you back. Go to your favorite brands and hit the follow button! You certainly don't have to share my entire closet! Thats a lot😃!! You will get more share partners and share 20 each with them. It gets to be a lot everyday. 20 is a good number and not quite as time consuming. Make sure you share your own closet at least 3 times a day and share to parties when you can!❤️

lmpurcell @sarahs567 Try to list a couple items a day and our closet will grow. It seems slow but its amazing how fast your numbers will get up there. Try to respond to people as quick as you can and participate in "make deal days" etc. Your doing great!! Little at a time🌷❤️😃

I try to share my own closet at least 3 times a day. (I don't always get to all of mine because there is a lot. Listing new items definalty helps. I try to make a goal of at least listing 2-5 items a day. I also have people I share 20 with daily just once a day. Sharing can be so time consuming so that seems to be the number people like to stick with.

I will bookmark you closet and try to share with you daily. we can even just start at 10 if its to much. Your prices are great and maybe you could even go higher so when someone likes it you can make them an offer. Go to my followers on my home page click on followers and follow all my people and they will follow back. The more people you follow they will follow you!😃🌸

Wish I knew how to do fancy backgrounds or even a color behind item. I am amazed at yours and other closets. lmpurcell @sarahs567 Thank you! 😊You are so kind!❤️Yes its good to research some of the moe expensive items like your Harley jackets etc., so you know how to price them. Backgrounds are hard. My black background is two large boards with black fabric I happened to have for something else. I love it but got sick of the black. Now I just put mine against my light gray wall. Its frustrating because depending on the light or the color of the garment the background can get yellow or darker.

lmpurcell @sarahs567 People use an app called knockout (and one other one) to get pure white backgrounds. Its lovely but to time consuming for me. The best thing to do is pick the lightest wall with natural light coming through a window. Hand a nice hook there and shoot away! You can lay things on the floor as well near a window..

lmpurcell @sarahs567 As far as the bundle goes...yes that's frustrating. People want you to make them an offer to see where you will go and also they want a shipping discount. I hated it at first because bundle means more than one item! And sometimes they bundle something that's less than $10 dollars..REALLY? .UGH! What I do is make them an offer. Sometimes they buy but sometimes they don't. If its under $10 I ignore it. There is a lot of game playing which I do not do and do not have time for.

Even bundles of two items sometimes I go really low and they still don't buy it but someone will. If you have any other questions about things let me know. I can try to help as much as I can. Stick with it your doing great! BTW, AUGUST IS REALLY SLOW!! Start listing fall stuff because come Sept., the seasons change and people start buying.🌸
