dondithriftz603 Hello Laura. I am not certain what happened to the vest during shipping?? I store my clothes in totes. I washed the vest right before I packaged it as it had been stored. I used Tide and I do not use fabric softener. I do not use perfume and if I did I would not send clothes smelling this way. I am very sorry that you are unhappy. I would be happy to arrange return shipping for you?

aridgides @dawndockum Thank you for offering. I would prefer to return it, but looked like that would be a hassle. Maybe it’s the detergent, but I’ve tried to air it out since and it’s still too strong for me to wear. There’s also a stain on the front by the zipper right in the chest area. I just figured I would try to wash it myself, but would prefer to return if that’s not too much hassle. Thanks!
