kooidog @irina_in Hi Irina. I just looked over the piece with a magnifying lens. As advertised, there is no chipping. I would jot every knowingly sell a damaged piece. That’s why I take so many good photos.

808danig Thanks so much for the great vintage top and history of how you got!. My Mom's Mom's were "society' people too maybe my Dad's side too.. bi my grams had taste and style. MY mom's mom was written up in the 'society page' in the local news papers about what shew. as wearing and who she was with... she lived to almost a 100 yr old and kept everything..She actual grew up a few houses over from where Princess Kaʻiulani was at the same time right off Waikiki Beach. I grew up nothing like that.

808danig I grew up in very small rented homes, lower income, Dad was a charter boat fisherman, his Mom paid for my elementary Catholic school at her church, public high school with lunch tokens.Both grams taught me how to sew, had style & was one of my elder cousins spending more time with both grandmas than my other cousins being asthmatic, having 2 working parents. I loved it! I now live in my Dads family home I grew up in. I bought his brothers half & inherited final 1/2 when my Dad passed 7yr ago.

808danig The top I purchased from you was exactly like ones both my grams wore! I love it! It's more than just a top to me... I have always planned to replicate some of their styles with new or vintage Polynesian style fabric to wear myself with modern Jeans or whatever for myself and to sell as refashioned fun!
