lkjlaura @vplats appreciate your feedback! We are moving so I’m “practicing” w/my current clothes since our closet will be 1/2 the size and it’s time to reduce! Hard to do when your taste is fairly classic and you know what you paid/how you cared for things. Earning a little extra helps the letting-go process :)

lkjlaura @vplats It also allows you to see and learnthe other great things people are doing with photos, promotions, etc. The algorithm fascinates me—it seems the minute someone likes or bundles things, next you know it sells to someone else.

vplats @lkglaura It is fascinating, I agree. Letting go can definitely be difficult--for myself when it comes to kids clothes, but it helps knowing that someone else will love them all over again! 😉

lkjlaura @vplats I know! And knowing things will get repurposed instead of going in a landfill is an added bonus. I know what you mean about kids stuff-my sister in law is just starting to let go of her kids things—and they are out of college! I think you want to save for grandkids...but it’s just too much!

vplats @lkglaura 😄 I am actually just manually following people! I've heard all kind of things about those apps...manually following people works for me for now, it actually gives me a chance to take a look at different closets and profiles. However there are times where I will just follow users, especially when I don't have time to sit there checking out every single one. I've followed many share/follow games those definitely help as well.

I’ve noticed a few people have multiple listings “not for sale.” Is this something done when the seller isn’t available to ship? I’m just curious-and unsure if I should share items that aren’t for sale. Again, shares are much appreciated, and thanks in advance if you can clear this up for me:)

lkjlaura @tjeklund1 Hi! You are so welcome! 2 reasons that i know items may say ‘not for sale’. 1. (my case) I have put my closet ‘on vacation’ while I am not near my items and available to ship. Want to avoid poor shipping reviews...! There will be a screen banner—but it is not a very obvious one that says “on vacation until X date”. I thought it should be bright/bigger. It took me awhile to tune into this and I had to google it!

lkjlaura 2. when you edit an item, you can mark ‘not for sale’ rather than deleting it. I notice some people do this when they A. own an item that may later go for sale B. wholesale and are not yet back in stock C. Or if they sell it on another platform and it is no longer available.
