Hello hello, I'm Laura! Some of my favorite brands include Lululemon, Free People, & Alo. When Posh first came on the scene many eons ago I created and maintained a pretty big closet for quite some time. Unfortunately, I couldn’t keep up with it after awhile and so I made the decision (and ultimate mistake) of permanently deleting my account😱 After having to create a new one in 2019, I’ve finally (slowly but surely) started listing again bc I have so many amazing items to share! lalafro8 @mrsmcrz I know. I saw that someone had been commenting about the account being fake on the ps5 listing & he/she wasn’t deleting them. Then I realized he/she hadn’t been active in 14+ hrs which is weird bc that’s not what he/she normally does. I guess we’ll see if another account shows up. I wonder if he/she is doing this on other sites as well. Bc I’d be giving up on Posh @ this point bc we out every account asap so if anyone’s falling for these scams @ this point I’d be surprised.

He was using the @ Jimmydurant before & had listed the # which was the same # as on the other 2 accounts. When I brought it up in a comment he suddenly deleted his listings on the JD account. Notice now he isn’t sharing his number but tells you to leave yours & he will contact you🙄

I just felt I needed to give some clarification to that buyer bc I feel you’re a genuine seller & though I understand that maybe she misunderstood what she was purchasing that doesn’t give her the right to try to ruin your reputation on PM. He/she has been super quiet lately & hasn’t posted a ps5 listing but I recognized the number & same description as before & the photo of the shoes. Check out lasly77.

lalafro8 @mrsmcrz oh no. Well this listing was for a pair of Jordans & was asking for ppl to contact him on that same # & only accepting those cash_apps previously mentioned. Someone commented about why he wouldn’t go through app & the reason I found it was bc it was reported as a replica when I was doing a review of items. Maybe he’s trying his luck @ just listing the shoes bc he thinks we won’t find him if he doesn’t have a ps5 attached to his account.

mrsmcrz @lalafro8 your comments are there, I reported both because they were same pictures, seems that Poshmark actually asked for Authentication and the one could not prove it. so it was gone in a matter of hours. now Jimmy aka 1000names😂 probably sold to that one young guy and that's a shame. 😔

lalafro8 @mrsmcrz @mrsmcrz looks like the buyer bought from jimmydurant386 through Posh so maybe he’ll get his money back bc I’m sure the sale will either get cancelled or he won’t receive it after 7 days since Jimmy also tries to get ppl to buy off site. I’m so sick of these ppl. It looks like niase643 hasn’t been active in almost 24 hrs which makes me thinks he/she is already aware this account is hot & has probably opened or already has another one opened. I’ll be on the lookout😉

Says the ps5 “sold” but it’s listed again & on the other listing says son died of Covid which is why she’s selling. That really pisses me off. Have heard that reason being used several times from scammers on Offer_Up. She’s reaching out to whoever “liked” the listings & I read a comment where she asked a buyer if she has FB.

lalafro8 @mrsmcrz I agree. So many ppl don’t get that when it looks too good to be too true 9/10 times it probably is! Trying to play on ppl’s emotions by using a sad story (that I highly doubt is true) is even more disturbing. Makes me sick. I understand Posh gets slammed with reports of all types of items every day but they need a team that solely focuses on these fake accounts. If they already have one then they need to do do better monitoring!

As soon as hunterbrianx012 went down this ellagoldman751 popped up a day later. I think he’s trying to throw ppl off by asking for their # now instead of listing his bc we figured out he was in NJ & not NY or PA like his other accounts were saying.

I’ve been tracking these ppl since Nov when they started doing this before the X-mas. I saw so many ppl lose hundreds of dollars by getting convinced to go off site. Posh wasn’t dealing with the reported listings quickly enough so I’ve just been gunning for them since & trying to warn ppl whenever I see them comment (usually on the buyers’ pages bc the scammers block me immediately).

The listing had been reported when I was doing Posh reviews which is how I came across it. I actually reached out to the buyer who was concerned about the photos to tell her that I realized your accounts were connected & it was probably a family running both & the item could’ve been cross-listed.
