retrofitrunway @grammyspinmoney Oh and btw, this is a really fun hobby for me, but I’ve come to accept that my momentum is never consistent. Usually I get super into it for a while (and sometimes a little too into it, which the time stamp on my posting may reveal haha), and then my interest wanes and I take a break. I feel very fortunate that I have a steady job and just do this on the side. I admire those who can make a living doing this work, but I don’t think that could ever be me.

retrofitrunway @grammyspinmoney I get too bogged down in “playing barbies” with my mannequin 😂 and I have too much of an imbalance with the collecting merchandise activities to be able to make this very lucrative. It’s so fun! But it would be hard work to keep up that kind of pace I think.

grammyspinmoney @retrofitrunway Yeah, that's how I feel, too. I want this to be a fun hobby not a full time job. I do find though that being on every day to look at closets and promote other Poshers helps me gain traction with new Poshers looking at my closet, but things really move when I post new items, do I really need to work on that. I look forward to the day I have as many followers as you do!!

retrofitrunway @grammyspinmoney I’ve heard (and found) that the number of followers doesn’t matter as much as some other factors. The key is, like you said, posting new items regularly. Also using key words to get your stuff to show up when people search for stuff. Feel free to go in and follow all my followers (only 1,000 show up at a time I think). This often gets a lot of return followers and people looking in your closet. I’m following you now, so you have one more! : )
