Hi! I'm Laura. My greatest thrill when shopping is discovering pieces that are unique, timeless, and beautiful—usually thrift/vintage, and sometimes at mainstream retailers. In my wardrobe, you’ll mostly find dresses and skirts on the boho/elegant/bookish continuum. I’m all about the details, such as lace, beading, embroidery, intricate patterns, and special little touches like unique buttons. Pockets are a major selling point! I strive to build a wardrobe that is as beautiful as it is practical and comfortable. This includes finding pieces that are well-crafted and durable. I appreciate garments made using natural textiles, such as linen, silk, cotton, bamboo, and wool. For me, they are more comfortable and breatheable, last longer, and decrease consumption of plastic. Organic is always a plus! My favorite contemporary retail brands are Adrianna Papell, Betsey Johnson, Free People, Knox Rose, Lucky Brand, Soma, Boody, J Crew, Fat Face, French Connection, Gibson & Latimer, Terzo Millenio, Chelsea & Violet, Monsoon, and Sigrid Olsen.
