kipstang Hi Laura , I don’t want to put comments on the tray so I’m messaging you here. Please don’t take this the wrong way. Yes it is but I have honestly seen the huge mail truck come in at my PO and the driver smoking. When a item leaves us as sellers it’s out of our hands. I have complained. But honestly I’d be a nervous wreck the whole time until you received it scared it may not meet your expectations. It’s made to look farm house rustic. I wouldn’t list anything I wouldn’t buy myself.

kipstang Also it’s made to look farmhouse rustic, and I do understand spending that kind of money you’d want something pretty much brand new and it’s not, it’s been sitting on a shelf for several years unused. Please understand and not take me as being rude. I’m just trying to be as honest as I can be. 😊

writebol5 @kipstang Thanks for your reply. I understand that drivers smoke and it is beyond your control. I just wanted to ask if the tray comes from a smoke free home. I have bought items from smokers and it is difficult if not impossible to eliminate the odor. It can permanently permeate things especially if they cannot be washed.

kipstang @writebol5 Yes my son bought me a track suit one time that smelled like it came out of a ash tray. It was horrible. Yes it’s smoke free, I wiped it out with a little pledge it was a tad dusty but that was it. With losing my husband of 38 years and taking care of my Mom and her passing 6 months later my house keeping kinda fell to the way side a bit from depression so bad. I do have two indoor cats as well as strays outside people keep throwing out on me. 😢
