timesofgrace hi! - i don't really know the best way to contact buyers through this site. i tried to leave a comment in response to yours, to let you know i had upgraded the shipping on the boots and to apologize for the delay. as far as the odor - those boots haven't seen the light of day for over a year, and yes, i do smoke. i have heard that sunlight can actually be an effective deodorizer; you might also try a bit of diluted lestoil or leather cleaner/oil.-->
