eggl16 Hey girl! Thanks to reaching out for Posh advice! I absolutely love helping newcomers. A few tips for you: -Make sure you have bright, clear, and clean looking listings. I like posting with a white background because it makes any color pop! -Try to style your items in an outfit so that other poshers can picture how to style your items and it’ll be easier for them to picture it in their own closet.

eggl16 -Before setting a price for an item, search in the app for the same/similar items to see what a fair market price is, and so you get your money’s worth! -For items that are brand name, try to find a stock photo to include in your pictures so buyers can see how it lays while being worn.

Usually it’s top notch items deserving of hand selection! They get you tons of new followers and shares from your closet!

gaiacoco1228 I have a Posher that contacted me with a phone number which I texted. They’ve asked me if they can send a check and once it is cashed then mail them the bag. Said they run a resale business. Has anyone experienced this? It sounds fishy.

eggl16 @gaiacoco1228 they’ll send you a fraudulent check, I’m sure. If they’re a legit business then they should have no problem continuing their transaction through the app. Only dishonest people have problems with doing business honestly. There’s a lot of scams on here. If you follow the rules that Poshmark sets, you’ll be fine. My advice would be to report them as spam and block them as a user
