I know a lot of kids going to be freshman at CU in the fall as my son is a senior here in CO and many of his friends are going there! I hope she loves it!! what's she studying?

lesliesmith528 @colorado_glitz I know that Maggie is really looking forward to attending CU! Maggie has a twin sister, Lucy, who is going to a small school in Salem, Oregon to study Art History to be a museum curator. I'm not sure what Maggie is studying but she has a 4.0 and perfect attendance for all four years of high school! My brother, Chuck, and his family live in Arvada and his wife, Cyndi, went to law school at UC Boulder. And they also have a 13-year-old, Abby. Congratulations to your son!

colorado_glitz @lesliesmith528 oh wow, so she's local! so cool!! congrats to Maggie and to her twin! I loved CU back in the day. Sadly my son did not get in and it was a sore spot for us as he wanted to go there. He should have gotten in. The Coach Prime effect made it harder and so much competition and you really needed such a high GPA to get in this year, more than usual. He's a good student though and I told him their loss!

lesliesmith528 @colorado_glitz I'm sorry about your son. I bet he likes KU! My Lauren went to the University of Arkansas & studied International Relations. My youngest, Sara, has Dyslexia & didn't get accepted into the UofA. My inlaws were helping pay for their college because my husband died from a blood clot in 2012. Sara got into Ole Miss & they insisted she go to UofA. She did go to Ole Miss, loved it & now is a TV Reporter like her late dad. Happy Graduation 😊 to your son!

I have heard Ole Miss is great though! was your husband on TV? That's so sweet your in laws have helped your girls. That's part of why I am doing Poshmark! i have a jewelry business too but as you know this is a great side gig. Happy grad to your niece too!

Actually, Sara didn't want to go to the UofA and wanted to go to Ole Miss anyway, so it turned out great for her! She was in Theta Sorority, met her future husband there, graduated in 4 years and got a TV Reporter job right out of college! My husband had been on TV when he was younger and worked in radio for the past 25 years. Is KU University of Kansas? They have a great basketball team!
