I’m not sure which pair you’re referring to on the website - but the pair I sent you is the same exact ones from my photos. 501 shorts come in several different styles, and the style you’re looking at for reference is different from this style. The tears on the shorts are purposeful - not a defect and can be seen in the photos! ❤️
