Hi. You bought the dress from me. My area is surrounded by fires. It’s a seasonal thing for us. My town is pretty smokey right now to the point I have to hose ash off of our cars repeatedly before we drive them. I store my items carefully but once I ship them there is not much I can do to keep them from smelling my smoke in transit. I did wrap the dress really good in tissue and put it in a plastic bag inside a box. I really hope this helps. Please let me now if it does not.
