pinkyandmo Just took my pups out for a walk - I took a few pics of the belt with the holes. I'll create a listing for you with the new pictures. This way your leather man can see what needs to be worked on. The belt is a little thicker past the area with the holes. This way if you change your mind, you have a till Monday - It's been 1 of those Saturday nights. I had to go out for a bit. check the new listing - will say 'not for sale' reserved for you.

iheartpoodles Hi! I have some Golden Goose questions and you look like an expert! I wear a 38 in the Superstars. I am a size 7.5 in most all of my other brands of shoes. I was wondering if the Mid Stars, Slides, Hi Stars for the same? I bought a 38 in the Hi Star and it was too big 😫. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

lmbienen @iheartpoodles Hello! I would be glad to help. I only wear high tops so I know most about that. Slides run the biggest of all. I am a an 8 in most shoes and wear a 38 slide, 38 Francy, and 39 midstar. I would recommend a 38 midstar, a 37 or 38 slide (it’s hard on the slide to say, it’s preference on if you want snug or roomy), and a 38 Francy.

lmbienen @iheartpoodles Often you need to adjust laces and get used to the fit before determining if too big. Laces and how tight or loose they are play a large role in how they fit.

heatherstroud42 You seem to be so knowledgeable on golden goose! Do you know how I can get my hands on some brown leopard laces? For superstars or mid stars.

lmbienen @heatherstroud42 thank you, that is tough. The superstars are 110 cm laces and mids are 120 cm laces, they are always sold out. I don’t ever see 120s for sale unless they came from a shoe, but they do sell 110 and 130 cm at the GG stores, but usually they are sold out there too. You can check Farfetch and other online retailers and sometimes the GG passport app has them.

lmbienen @heatherstroud42 If you don’t need them to be GG brand, Amazon has 120 cm (47 in) laces in leopard that are really cute. I also offer a service where I take the ends and add gold or silver aglets (the metal part on the end of some laces) on my Golden Goose restore/repair service website, I can provide you more info if you want to see how that looks.

lmbienen @lol2344556 Sure no problem there’s a few things. First the insert (insole) Says superstar and those are mid stars. Second the side leather is too clean And the writing is slightly crooked. Third star points do not enter the rubber part of the sole correctly they’re too narrow.

lmbienen @lol2344556 Also I’m sure when you remove the insole you’ll find the writing characteristic of golden goose that shows the authenticity stamp isn’t correct. I look at a lot of goldengoose and it’s fairly obvious to someone really familiar with the brand. I hope this helps
