leahcorbitt27 @foxyroxyroxb oh ok so you buy from ppl on here than resell it for a bit more to make a lil profit from it? and the miss me jeans the sizes are so confusing like a size 25 and size 30 they look like there size 5 or 6 and I wear a size 13 so I don't even know if they make sizes big enough for me lol

roxysreruns @leahcorbitt27 no I buy from thrift stores, and get some of my stuff from my Mom & friends. There are a number of us that do that :) it’s reselling OS means one size or sometimes it means the measurements are in the description.

roxysreruns @leahcorbitt27 it all depends how much time I have to list items...I sell about 10-15 a weeks if I list about 3-5 a day. It is time consuming cause you ha e to wash iron photograph then list but I love it!

roxysreruns @leahcorbitt27 I don’t think you can put electronics, not sure about video games and I think perfume it’s ok as long as it sealed? I am not sure. If you google what can you sell on Poshmark it should take you right where it tells you :)

leahcorbitt27 @foxyroxyroxb and it's crazy cuz I read what's allowed and not allowed and from what it says directly on the site that no home decor is to be sold no perfumes no electronics but there is a whole section on the site for home decor and seasonal decor and I haven't seen perfum but have seen a couple things like beats earphones and virtual reality headsets up... but the no home decor when there's a whole section for it's is crazy

roxysreruns @leahcorbitt27 hmmmmI don’t know.....if you see others selling it then it must be alright. You could email Poshmark or just try selling it. I think if it wasn’t allowed a flag will pop up. Last year I tried selling nail polish and it wouldn’t let me post it. Selling home goods is new. That has been allowed just for the past several months.

leahcorbitt27 @picsonly @foxyroxyroxb when you guys first started on poshmark how did y'all go about making ur first sales was it a while before y'all made ur first sales? I've been adding and sharing like crazy and just in 24 hrs got 800 followers which I'm hoping is a good thing any tips you could help me out with? I'm working on getting more stuff to put up cuz I'd love to be able to do the boutique and buy the wholesale stuff but again any helpful tips would be greatly appreciated thank you!

roxysreruns @leahcorbitt27 initially I had listed 5 pairs of boots and it took about 1 month before I sold a pair lol...I had no idea about sharing. For me, this is what sells 1) listing a brand name that is sought after 2) good pictures and good shape items 3) sharing 2-3X day, welcoming new Poshers & listing consistently. The item had to priced right. I am still learning a lot but this is the formula I am using now :)

roxysreruns @leahcorbitt27 also I don’t look at followers...I don’t even know how many I have lol.....I did work on making ambassador when I first joined. If you check out Empty Hanger on Youtube you’ll be able to get some hints from her videos. She sells thrifted items and wholesale.

leahcorbitt27 @foxyroxyroxb ok and by sharing do mean sharing ur own stuff or other ppls stuff? and if my stuff do I just share with my followers and lup on insta or Facebook?or do I have to pick certain ppl to share my products with? I don't have anything connected to this other than my Facebook but I put screen shots and link to the site up on my Instagram for ppl to see and can add me if they click on the site link but like tumbler and Pinterest I don't have those things

I went shopping today and couldn't believe some of the nicest name brand clothes I found I found apple bottom jeans pink zip up hoodie Andy worhol zip up nice book bag at like unbelievably dirt cheap not even 2 digit prices today and they are in perfect condition!

roxysreruns @leahcorbitt27 I share both my stuff and and others but more my own. I just have Pinterest tied to my account. I do have a reseller Instagram called foxyroxyrox that I sometimes post items that I list and use hashtags. I have sold items by listing them on there. A lady saw them on insta and come to my closet and bought a few stuff. I don’t have my personal fb tied to posh. Oh yes I share to my followers and to the parties if I happen to share during the party.

roxysreruns @leahcorbitt27 lol I have 41k?? Oh ok, lol I though I had around 40k....the other think I had learned to do is look up comps. Before I buy something , I look at the listing under solds and see how much it sold for....Empty Hanger just didn’t a video today on how to do so. They is important cause even though it’s cheap if it doesn’t sell for more then $10 and you payed $6 and posh takes 20% then you only make $1...see what I mean?
