Hi! I'm Leann. I would love to be a maximalist, but menopause has left me too heat sensitive. So I do the best I can, and stick to cotton, rayon, viscose, tencel breathable fabrics. Favorite brands are Torrid, Tante Betsy, Gudrun Sjoden, Hell Bunny, Cherry Velvety, Fluevog, Doc Martens, Birkenstocks, Ankara fabrics and things that are colorful, bold, eclectic, or shiny. Happy to look if you are selling things along these lines.

muyfifi @thisgirlmarlo thanks for the welcome, yes I do. I used to sell on eBay but the fees got pretty exorbitant--was hoping to try this as a more personalized experience and really only to clean out a household closet, not as income. Any tips on how to minimize fees? And I wanted to make sure I understand the shipping--sounds like I need to enter default weights before things are posted, yes? Thank you!

thisgirlmarlo @muyfifi Poshmark is perfect for that goal. There's also room to grow later by finishing boutique certification and the option of buying wholesale. Lots of people do well on here with reselling. The fees are kept simple-- sales under $15, flat $2.95, sales $15 or more, you keep 80%, Poshmark 20%.They handle the credit processing and shipping label.

thisgirlmarlo @muyfifi buyers can buy multiple items and pay flat rate shipping. The only time you need to enter weight is if a sale is over 5 lbs then you pay to upgrade the shipping label. There's a chart on the support page so keep in mind when giving discounts on large bundles.
