hi leslie, those kids stride rite shoes did not come with insoles, so I did not remove them. just wanted to let you know that, it wasnt anything bad I did on my part, I fully explained the item in the description, i wish you would have asked me if they had insoles that way this wouldnt have resulted as a bad review for my closet. Thanks again for your purchase, I'm sincerely sorry they werent what you had hoped!
