ahappyhamper Hi there. You just left a comment on the New in Box Lucky Brand boots you purchased last month. I think your rating/description is quite unfair. The boots were purchased brand new from the factory @ Lucky Brand via Nordstrom Rack. Never worn.

ahappyhamper The description I used in the listing is the description on the website. The boots retail for over $140 and so when you say they "reeked of plastic as soon as I opened it" that is what would happen if you would have purchased from Lucky brand directly as well. The boots were purchased last month by you from my closet and so if they were sitting in a hot environment all this time or were on the truck at the Post Office this smell you speak of would be normal.

ahappyhamper Give it a few hours and it will pass. I take poshmark and my closet very seriously and have never received a rating this low before. I wanted to reach out because I don't think this was fair to do at all. If the boots were used without a box and I mixed up the style # or something, I would understand. However, these were purchased from Nordstrom Rack and never touched after they arrived. If you want a refund, thats fine but I would hope you would reconsider your rating.

violette865 Fair enough, and please accept my apologies. I did some digging around, and everywhere this Inniko lace-up boot is listed, it's listed as a "leather upper". On Ebay, on Overstock...everywhere. Were it not for the labeling on the side of the box: "black veg", I wouldn't have clued in...but I know my leather...

violette865 I now know that the fault lies with Lucky Brand for not inspecting shoes they were purchasing or having made from their supplier. I suspect the REAL fault lies with the supplier--likely a Chinese factory--that did a bait-and-switch regarding the materials the specified materials for this boot to make a bigger profit...

violette865 After Lucky Brand realized the issue and couldn't get their money back, these gorgeous boots went to all the discount outlets, because no retailer could sell a Lucky Brand faux-leather shoe (Lucky Brand only uses REAL leather.) In the end, it's not an issue most people could detect, and it's not your fault...

violette865 I don't expect a refund from you. It's just that....over a month of buying on Poshmark...I've been burned three times on incorrect descriptions, and I was taking it out on you. Plus, a wild bird I'd been nursing just dies. I'll change your rating back to five stars. Lesson learned, and I'm sorry.
