kasbowi Welcome to Poshmark Linda! It's a great community and I hope you have lots of fun buying and selling fashion. I'm a Posh Ambassador so if you have any questions don't hesitate to ask. Best of luck on your closet

garnetlynne @kasbowi Hi / are you still a Poshmark Ambassador? I’d like to know how to use poshmark parties. And also how to boost buyer interest in my listings. I’ve sold 3 items but wish to sell more. Thank you! Garnetlynne

kasbowi @garnetlynne Hi Linda. Yes, I'm still a Posh Ambassador. I'm not sure what you mean about using Poshmark parties. The most basic way is to make sure you share your items to as many parties as possible throughout the day. As long as they fit the theme. The last one of the evening is usually the best attended one, so you should be sharing to that every day.

kasbowi @garnetlynne Another way to use parties is to get one of your items chosen as a host pick. Some party hosts advertise for that in the Posh feed and you can tag them with your appropriate items. Or see who is hosting each party, go to their closets and share their items. Hopefully, they will share back and maybe notice/pick something of yours.

kasbowi @garnetlynne And a third way to use parties is to apply to be a party host. The application can be found here: https://support.poshmark.com/s/party-host-application?language=en_US.

kasbowi @garnetlynne Here are the best ways to increase buyer interest in your items: 1. share them as much as possible, best 3 times a day; 2. make sure you have great cover shots. Look at some closets you like and aim for a similar look; and 3. Make sure your item title is as full and descriptive as possible. Most sales on Posh happen from searches.

kasbowi @garnetlynne Item titles should always include the size, too. For example, your black leather boots could be "Black leather knee high boots size 6.5." You should also include the manufacturer if known.

kasbowi @garnetlynne I would also google "selling on Poshmark" to find the articles, blogs and videos about the best selling tips. I still find a lot of practical help that way.

kasbowi @garnetlynne Finally (for now), the Poshmark app runs on what's called an algorithm. There are certain things you can do to get it to recognize your closet and other things you can do to hurt that. Here's a good article about it: https://poshmarkpaige.wordpress.com/2018/11/01/poshmark-algorithms-the-dos-donts-for-a-successful-closet/
