@happygauger Hi Linda, The item was just dry cleaned with at home dry cleaning sheets and then packaged for shipping. Thank you for letting me know and maybe I should have waited before packaging the item. It was supposed to be ready for you to use. Maybe let it hang open for a couple days before wear?

@ehopie It's probably the scent from the dry cleaning sheets that I'm getting... I've got it hanging out right now so hopefully the scent will diminish. Other than that, the item is lovely and the packaging was great, thanks for the little card!! :-)
