Hi! I'm Linda. Some of my favorite brands are Double D Ranch, Escada, Genny, Emanuel Ungaro, Verte Vallee, Iceberg. I will be offering several jewelry pieces from my extensive Navajo collection. Thanks for stopping by!
I was a San Francisco financial-district attorney from the mid-70s onward, so the 80s and 90s were the basis of the luxury wardrobe for professional and social occasions that I held onto. My continuing acquisitions tend to be Southwestern or special/dramatic in some way. Often quirky. So that may explain what you continue to see rotated as time goes by. I love fashion. I enjoy going through your “closets” and finding things that please me, to share.
I have been an oil painter before, during, and definitely now after my lawyer career. My artist website is listed on my profile / closet: www.lindasorensen paintings.com. My husband and I have an art gallery specializing in Early California paintings. www.bodegabayheritagegallery.com. Feel free to browse through the museum-like information and beautiful images of California as it used to be. Dan is a noted art historian in the California specialty, and does an online blog/newsletter on art subjects, which can be signed up for online.

So glad to see your work, it’s so beautiful and I would love to be added to your email list or if you have an Etsy page? Thanks!

@apearls_closet Thank you so much. Our art gallery has a blog that reports on me as well as fine art subjects in general. I added info on this page — thanks for the idea! — and will have Dan add a signup link on my homepage like on our gallery’s homepage. You have a beautiful website! (My website links from my profile/closet page like yours does.)

@zeldasunshine Your artwork is stunning. And your closet is an inspiration. I have an MA in art history, and I'm definitely going to check out your husband's blog. I did some research on Ferus Gallery, and I was most interested in the pre-Irving Blum iteration. I love Wallace Berman's work, and his life & career between LA and SF was fascinating to me! So glad to meet you here!!!

@awalkncloset Thank you very much. I was not that familiar with Wallace Berman or that category, but I see that something of his is coming up for auction. We get more excited about how Ernie Barnes’ art is accelerating into the stratosphere.

I just love your journey story....."ALWAYS A PAINTER". Perhaps you will post some of your piece here for sale?

Greatly appreciated. I do have one small local sea coast painting listed. This smaller series in nice frames can fit in the large postal boxes, and I’ll probably move them from Etsy. I just started selling 3 months ago and am not finished reducing my personal closets, so that and sharing others’ listings are my current focus.

I have been selling on Poshmark for four months, doing okay, and I have a few opinions of general application. First: I know that there is no real rule about “likes”, but I don’t think they should be used for mere approval; instead, a “liker” should have some contemplation that they might want to buy the item. I give serious thought to each like, whether I should make an offer that PM pushes us to do. A rejection instead of a simple expiration, I will likely block future time-wasting.

Second: poshers should not try to harm other sellers by their comments, or notes. I hope when this happens, the victim will call it out, and the perpetrator can respond if there is an explanation. When I see such bad behavior, or evidence that the buyer deliberately fails to “accept” a satisfactory purchase from someone else, I don’t want to do business with the perpetrator. I don’t want to be a victim.

Shoppers: Undo your “like” or delete your bundle if you don’t want to see notifications about that item in the future. Rejection of an offer means the posher wasted the seller’s time with their insincere like, so blocking them makes sense to avoid future negative experiences.

Thanks! I try to be entertaining, and prefer finding entertaining things to “share” as if my “followers” were actually following to be entertained. I have always loved fabrics and fashion.
