wlw1983 Hi, snail xmas pillow woman here. Hope this isnt too strange for you but I thought I would ask since I dont know anyone in, or from Vermont. My husband wants us to move there. Tired of Fl and the heat and bugs. Your expert advise would be? He is serious and I think I would be ok except for driving in the snow.

l_richard @wlw1983 Hi! No worries, I understand. I absolutely love Vermont May-October. The winters get to be long, dark and bitter if you don’t do something to enjoy it for what it’s worth. Skiing and riding are really big up here. It’s beautiful, the access to local farm grown food is incredible and the politics tend to be liberal and progressive. With the exception of a few more populated hubs, most areas are very rural so depending on what you do for work, opportunities can be limited.

wlw1983 @l_richard It sounds so awesome. Every word sounds like what we have been searching for and need. FL is a swamp both literally and figuratively. If it weren't for the beaches and surfing we would already be gone. Lived here most of our lives. Parents transplanted us when we were little from Indiana and Pennsylvania. I still miss the change of seasons. Thank you so much for sharing. It means alot.❤
