mrsmagan Hi I have a question about the ray ban sunglasses you purchased from a particular seller that you declined? What was the result of the sale? I recently bid on a similar pair to yours from this same seller and don’t want to get stuck with a fraudulent pair! Thanks in advance!

lbstudio @mrsmagan hi there! The seller sent me a pair of glasses that was 100% fraudulent. They were so lightweight and flimsy, it was a joke. The seller tried to claim to me that she sent authentic glasses, and that I was scamming her by sending her back a fake pair. Completely ridiculous. I reported it all to Poshmark immediately, they reviewed the case, and ultimately they approved and refunded my money. As a part of this process, I returned the glasses to the seller.

mrsmagan @lbstudio thanks for the heads up. I have a pair or tortoise new wayfarer not polarized and they don’t have etching like my polarized aviators do but both came from sunglasshut so I know they are authentic. I don’t know how to tell what’s authentic and what’s not and I don’t know what 7barrel hinge means. I’m so afraid to get scammed on here but so far so good... hope it stays that way but I will be retracting my bid for sure!

lbstudio @mrsmagan I completely understand! I just bought an additional pair from Sunglass Hut at Christmas, and will definitely stick to them for those types of purchases! If you look up your specific style of glasses online, there are lots of websites that can help with clues about whether a pair is fake or not. I didn’t know about the barrel hinge either until I read about it online!
