Hi! I'm Lindsey. Some of my favorite brands are Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Prada, Cartier, and Versace. I love high end designer goods because in my experience, few things bring a rush of confidence like handbags and jewelry worth thousands of dollars. Doesn’t matter if it’s used, all the better because nobody else knows that and moreover the lower price makes it within reach or allows you to get two instead of one. Sophia Loren insightfully articulate this wisdom, “Sex appeal is 50% what you’ve got and 50% what people think you’ve got”. The bag is designer, the flavor is yours. Growing up in Kentucky, at age 19 I found myself working at a classy gentleman’s club (where I couldn’t even drink!) and there I was mentored by a charismatic and pragmatic former Broadway star who matter of factly told me “if you want a man to pay a thousand dollars for you, you have to show him you’re worth a thousand dollars. Your outfits, your nails, hair, these things cost money. You have to invest”. Although I have come a long way since then both geographically and professionally, lessons such as that have stuck with me and have been difficult to disprove- and you can imagine, with having been raised on Scarlet O’Hara as an icon too. As a woman I have learned that in order to go far it’s a good idea to be smart, tough, hardworking, and irreproachably seductive. Whether luxury is your final destination or a means to an end; whether your style is loud or understated, make it sexy.
