As a Posh Mentor, here's my advice: I noticed you've only shared one item from another closet. Sharing items for other Poshers gets you max exposure to thousands of users, and I think you'll see your sales skyrocket! Try to avoid following or sharing closets that don't follow Posh rules. chicknthesticks @lisa2644 It's items in their closet, and just to your followers. They'll return the favor by sharing some of your items to their followers. It's a win-win! Sharing to Posh parties or FB or Twitter is strictly for your own items. Whenever I follow a closet (Posh-compliant, of course) I share 5-10 items right then, and that usually starts the sharing cycle. You'll see it in your News whenever someone shares for you ☺

erikagannon Make sure you read up on what's allowed and not allowed on Posh...a Host cannot give you a host pick if there's anything in your closet that's not compliant. I didn't see anything while I was sharing, but I wasn't searching either. My dear friend @queenmumm has an AMAZING Blog to help you with all sorts of tips and tricks...not to mention, she is one AWESOME LADY!!

And yes, I've looked at the do's and don't but surprised how many people sell whatever they want...I actually asked one person, because her closet was full of don't s and she replied that it was fine and I could sell them too. Lol. Guess she forgot to read EVERYONE'S list of rules posted everywhere!

erikagannon @lisa2644 well it's true...many try (and succeed) at selling prohibited items...but if you ever wonder why something is not allowed...please ask...there is a reason behind everything that keeps us all safe! It's not always obvious...so some just continue doing "their thing" without ever asking the why. What's sad is that their closets will never get the exposure that complaint ones will. And some have som ereally cute things!

croweart @erikagannon I'm cracking up...I just, quickly, went to queenmums (I think that was it...it was quick) closet, read a few things, liked a few things, then started to read a tip of the day, just to find out why my closet is CONSTANTLY changing and getting disorganised...i didn't know that every time I edit an item it moves to the top!!!!! Ahhhhh! Lol. That would have been helpful to know...we need game board rules to follow!

I feel like I'm doing everything everyone has mentioned, and I learn new things everyday, I'm meeting people and having fun, but 0 sales. Does it take some time? Are my products all wrong? What am I missing?

I can tag you on any follow games, and I'm going to tag a couple of pffs to help also. I also searched 'follow games' and 'newbies' under the feed button. There are so many women who are willing to help us newbies! Things have slowed down for me these past couple of weeks, think women may be waiting for 'after Christmas sales' !

But I have been trying to share and follow as many closets as I can and figuring out the ropes as I go. It appears people have a strategy to sharing times of day, etc so trying to figure that out. So what is the follow game?

vicky_ymcagirl @lisa2644 sorry! I should have explained a follow game! it took me a while to figure out exactly how to do it! I figured out how to ❤️ a game, but how to follow all those names??!! All you have to do is ❤️ it, then you'll see 'lisa2644 and 123 ( or some number ) like this' , tap on that number and a list of names will show up. Just tap on all those blue follow buttons ( realistically they should follow you back ) 🤗

vicky_ymcagirl @lisa2644 at the beginning I didn't even know what a posh compliant closet was! I just followed everybody! Now that I hit my 10,000 followers I am being more selective. If you want to be safe, follow everyone who is a suggested user ( SU ). To obtain this coveted position, ( I'm not there yet 😕) one has to have a compliant closet! 👍🏻

vicky_ymcagirl @lisa2644 I do on all the follow games, then if/when they follow me back I scroll thru 15-20 items, if I see baby or men's clothes I unfollow them. ( some people block them, I haven't done that yet )But I hit every blue follow button in the beginning...part of the reason was I assumed everybody was doing it right! Isn't that funny?!

vicky_ymcagirl @lisa2644 girl I understand! I'm not a stupid person but it took me forever to figure it out... And still have questions!! I'm not sure I can answer this, but Ideally, all the people you follow would follow you back...But I am following 64000 people, and only 10,000 have followed back...😏 but when I share a listing I know 10,000 will see it, and if ONE of my 10,000 followers have 1 million followers and she shares my listing with her followers.... And they share it...hope that makes sense!! 😜

vicky_ymcagirl @lisa2644 most of the time I follow them all, then when they follow me back I just scroll thru about 3-4 'pages' of their stuff then decide. If the game is sent out by a SU then I consider it pretty safe. I've recently started 'unfollowing' some folks, and that's always an option at any time

croweart @stupidlysweet soooo, I made a word photo on Fodor (the online photo editing site...it's free) and added a background then edited it using the Posh tool...then to organise the closet you share the items to your followers in the order you want them in your closet (each time u share an item it moves to the top) And u just keep doing that each time you share your closet items.

croweart @stupidlysweet yep! That's exactly right. So if u have 3 bras and they aren't next to eachother, just share the 3 bras...only the bras, and then refresh ur screen and they will be together at the top of the list/closet.

It's lovely to get notes but i fear that i often miss them and get overwhelmed and unintentionally "ignore" them. hismrs @lisa2644 I was the same way back in 2012 (?). It was MONTHS before I ever made my 1st sale. They take so much out now. It was different before, but there are some good changes too. Share a lot, Share your stuff, Share to daily & especially nightly parties, etc. Low sales is why I jumped on ebay though. You'll see who the top women are. Follow their lead & attend parties. You've got GREAT stuff & I'm sure everyone's broke from Christmas.

croweart @vickyss yeah...the PC thing doesn't seem to hold too much water, since it isn't really managed...the only one's who seem to manage it are the other PC closets! And according to FB posts, people do alot of relisting of items, which deletes their HP status, and likes, but increases sales, and others have multiple closets, for what reason I have no idea!!! LOL

croweart I have a question ladies, if anyone has a free sec today...When I reduce an item and the buyer receives reduced or free shipping for 1 hour, is there a way for me to see this and notify them of it? Other than them looking at their own news feed and seeing it. erikagannon Hey girlie!! There sure is! That is why I "like" all of my listings. That was if a price drop notification is sent, you get one too! As long as the reduction is at least 10% of your asking price, a notification will go out. It doesn't always trigger reduced shipping too though. That, unfortunately, is random now. You're so sweet to ask my advice...:) A few things I have learned (and still learning for sure!) is to ask for permission to use stock photo's, then give credit in the listing (this is what I am working on this week), if you dont have permission, the company can sue PM, if you do but don't give credit, PM wont know you have permission. This issue can effect becoming an SU or boutique.

I just sold an item because someone made a full price offer, someone else is infuriated and leaving comments saying we were in negotiations which I didn't think we were...she hadn't even made an actual offer. She is now saying I should cancel the other buyers offer and honor hers...I don't know what to do, but I think I should honor that of the actual purchaser?

It's very hard to share, follow and list...it all takes so much time....and i completely understand the sales part...so dang frustrating to only sell a few things in a week!!!! I've started sharing my own closet far more than others closets and its made a little difference....I actually set an alarm for every hour from 1030 to 1030, and I make an attempt to share everything hourly!!! It's alot of work, and typically I don't do it everytime, but atleast its a reminder...

shelpen i'm so proud of you. Now that is perseverance. I've got 180 something open items and just the other day found out I could use my computer to do the shares. Much faster. Been using cell phone for everything since the beginning because I didn't have a tablet and still don't. I may try the alarm but it won't be for every hour.

croweart @camilled61 Good morning. Ugh, I'm so sorry you're having this problem! I def must have forgotten to apply the wax finish! I will just mail you a new ring, first I am going to do a few test runs with the others I have, wear them for a day or so, with wax, without, etc, and see how it goes. I don't typically wear jewelry so I realize I don't know how it reacts when worn. I'll get back to you today or tomorrow and then I'll ship a new one out. My apologies!

croweart @camilled61 OH MY GOSH! I've been so crazy busy I totally forgot to mail out your ring! I knew there was something I was forgetting! My apologies! I figured a few things out and will mail you a new one today! I glazed the inside, which should make all the difference! The glaze on the outside kind of changed the finish, so I waxed the patina. Let me know how this works out for you.

dsestuff @croweart I went to it DAY ONE , what a Bummer. Very disappointed ☹️ it said buy ticket and I tapped it and it did nothing. I also contacted Poshmark to find out what the deal was of why it was not registering. Well have a great time looking forward to the Christmas holidays and are new grandbaby coming soon.

I have the two boxers, but I lost the fawn lab mix in the 3rd photo when I was in Washington. She was my best friend! And I'm the same way....whatevers going on, dogs come first!!!!! hahahaha

croweart @turtle1303 Oh no! The USPS tracking # is 9405510899359723233801, and this is the info I see: April 8, 2019 at 3:10 pm, Delivered, In/At Mailbox,SALT LAKE CITY, UT 84115. I suggest sending Poshmark an email letting them know there is a situation, so that way if you don't find it, you have noted not receiving it. I'm so sorry. Let me know what you find out!
