adaliesnana Love your Bus! I learned to drive in my dads Beetle. I was given a rundown '70 Bus loved it so much we purchased another one. I now have 7 grandkids and would love to have a bus again to shuttle them around. So, I'm jealous!!!

xcountryvwbus @adaliesnana Thank you and love your story plus congrats on the grandkids. Our parents took us cross-country in the 60's in a new one for that time . One rear side window was filled with state decal stickers. For years, my dad used ours to haul his tools he needed to work on sets in Hollywood studios. We all loved that bus!

My favorite part was if the kids spilled something or one of the dogs drooled all over I'd pull into a car wash and hose out the inside leave the sliding door open and pull over to a slope and the water would run out leave the windows open in the CA heat and it was dry and clean when I arrived home. Fun times!

fahey727 I like your bus. Years ago I drove a Karmann beetle convertible and my wife loaded the kids in a Type 3 Square Back. ( My post retirement workmobile is a tricked out HHR panel truck.)
