rgreenberg @cranston1962 not sure - it used to be when an item drops 10% its lowest ever posted price - posh would only charge 1.50 if the item sold within an hour of the price drop... now from what I've seen it's "randomized" discounting. They could. Offer free S/h - they could offer shipping for2.95

rgreenberg @cranston1962 - it varies but I'll get an email when I put the item on "sale" with the info on what they chose for verification (because there have been times it didn't calculate properly) but the item must be purchased before the one hour time expired.
