@thehautehaus Yeah, I've been considering that. I normally donate things I don't use anymore, but the money's starting to roll out faster than it comes in. My husband already kicked me out of the closet in his "man cave." Now I'm down to two walk ins and several containers hidden under the bed. I need an intervention.

I loved it so much and didn't want to send it back. Seriously not looking for a freebie, but maybe a deal on my next purchase. I love caftans, so I do plan on shopping your closet again. ❤️

@gradgirlmhs I appreciate that. But I know some people take advantage of others to get more than what they pay for, and that makes me uncomfortable. So I never do that. If I'm keeping the item and there was a problem with it, I'd prefer a discount as opposed to something free.

@pwall2012 Yeah, had two different strains and got a respiratory infection in between. But it could have been way worse. I feel the same way about donating, that's why I give a lot to the Good Samaritan. Goes straight to the homeless and what they don't use, they sell in their thrift store, so the money stays with them.

Other than the people who need it the most so thank you and I’m glad you’re feeling better. I hope everything‘s going well for you and if you get a chance I would love to know what kind of charities you donated to because I have bunches and bunches of things to donate but I don’t want to give them to places where people have to spend money to get them. I hate the Salvation Army for that very reason. And I am pretty sure that women in distress also have to pay money so there my clothes

@pwall2012 Wow! Didn’t know Salvation Army charged people. Thanks for that bit of info. I give to our local Good Samaritan. The homeless get the clothes, shoes, blankets, etc. What they don’t use, such as home goods, they sell in a thrift store they have, so the money stays with them.

@pwall2012 I also give to the Ronald McDonald House. They help families that stay with them while their children are being treated long term at the children’s hospital down the street from them. And I give to churches that provide for displaced people at home or abroad.

@pwall2012 People all over the world need help. I’m not rich, but I’ve been blessed enough to give back when and where I can. I know Goodwill charges for the items donated to them. I have donated to them, though, because they provide jobs for the disabled.
