cottagegifts Lisa, we are twins! lol Not really but I see you did the same thing with your Instant Pot as *I* did with the Power Cooker, you threw away the part called the condensation catcher too! I thought it was just packing material & I wonder if you did too. Whether you knew or not, I still consider it a great deal from you!

cottagegifts I just thought I’d tell you in case you didn’t like how the unit holds water around the lid. The plastic part is to stop that. So if you liked it otherwise, that will fix that issue. It was only natural to think it was just packing. The companies should replace the part for free, because they should have text or a bright sticker on that piece that says “DO NOT DISCARD!” They’ve had to have hundreds of phone calls about that part yet of course they probably haven’t done a thing about it.
