liledeglace @kaibooboo hey Lisa! so glad we connected via posh! I was thinking about your dilemma and it occurred to me that you could always try to reposh the rebecca minkoff bag you were dissatisfied with to see if other poshers may be interested in purchasing it from you. I see a lottt of listings of RM bags with minor stains and limited edition labels going for cheap.

liledeglace I would contact the seller to see if they would be willing to take the item back or let you reposh. I personally had bad experiences with 2 sellers on here where the quality of the items could have been improved and was awarded a total of $50 in posh credits. sorry to hear about you negative experience with Rebecca bags. kaibooboo @liledeglace Thanks for your input! I actually bought the bag off Rebecca minkoff so I was able to return it! Sorry if you thought I bought it from posh mark. But yes I have had bad experiences with posh too but most are good

liledeglace @kaibooboo great to hear! thanks for your honesty. it's been 50/50 for me so far because while I love the idea of writing ppl love notes, sometimes the condition of the items or smells and stains were not disclosed to me before purchasing.

liledeglace I am very sensitive to weird smells and things not being completely new, so I find the nwot labels misleading sometimes. on the other hand, I've been lucky sometimes to score some good deals. thanks for talking me out of investing in an authentic rebecca minkoff!

liledeglace I made an offer for one at 60 that was originally 80, so I'm glad my offer was rejected. I was picking it based on the limited editioness of the prints, but lots of complaints from other reviewers from YouTube wishing the RM brand were more durable😔

kaibooboo @liledeglace Yes it’s hit or miss. If you are referring to the nylon Rebecca minkoff backpacks then yes they are not great at All. I found an older nylon version off posh mark that is much more durable! I know you mentioned you were going vegan bags but I have one leather Rebecca minkoff that I have had for 4 years and it still looks brand new the best bag I ever purchased!

liledeglace @kaibooboo haha, great to hear of one good experience with her bags! yes, I'm trying to become more plant-based. I love a lot of her leather mac and mac mini designs, but most of them last 1-3 years tops. my cousin came to visit me a few years back and hers had started to peel and transfer, so we saw some new ones going only for 30-40 at our neighborhood outlet store. they were are nwt but we decided against it because she wanted something completely different.

liledeglace 4 years is indeed on the longer side for her bags. I can't wait until you decide to flaunt it in your closet. I watch a lot of rebecca minkoff unboxings on YouTube and feel so bad when the colors and quality is to par with the receiver's expectations. I think it's because she is a relatively young brand so she's still making the bags in small quantity herself. price and quality has not been standardized anywhere yet to date. the brand needs more time to grow😔

kaibooboo @liledeglace I understand. I have a Mac bag as well as it is soft leather I know it will peel and scratch easily but I try to take good care of all my bags!

liledeglace @kaibooboo I hope it came with a dust bag! same here. that's the problem sometimes with beautiful things. I'm trying to take better care of my stuff like you, but my interest in moving towards a more plant-based life style has made it now where I am not allowing myself to buy real leather or anything that is not PETA approved for no animal cruelty. thanks for sharing your bag collection with me! poshmark is a great place to sell lightly used items at a minor discount 😉

It's been a tough time in our nation, so I've been slow to post new bags that I may need to re-posh.
