prelovedchic Hi, I'm sorry you weren't pleased with how your purchased item ( lucky brand top) was packaged. All of my items come from a smoke free home, I've never been a smoker & no one in my home smokes. I also deep steam each item before I list it. The smell is from the drawer sachet that I add with all my packages. It is made from downy scent beads. If you dont like the smell it can easily be washed away & then just throw the sachet away. Sorry for the inconvenience
