I wear mine proudly for my son!(he's 29 now,WOW! where does the time go😕)I know my son has taught me a lot especially about being patient and more understanding/ Compassionate of other people's needs, and especially not to judge how someone because the way they are acting"just cuz you can't see it doest mean it doesn't exist(autism)"

lisagd51360 @jeff1e Yes I agree totally with what you have written. I’m the memaw to an autistic child. Do everything I can to help, learn, engage with my daughter son in-law and grandchild. I also have another daughter son in-law that have two children. It can be difficult sharing your time evenly. I think I could benefit from a couple therapy for grandma’s.

jeff1e @lisagd51360 I also have 2 grandsons with autism spectrum. It is tough not getting Judged because a 8 year old is Having a meltdown in the middle of the store little do they know that this child has autism but they don't care they just judge Him and you. My heart goes out to every parent and child with this. It Needs to be talked about more so people understand
