horsesboutique @katzkoz Hi again! I do have a question for you. I tried searching for my items on Poshmark from my laptop but they never come-up, despite putting in the exact wording in my description. For instance, I searched for my H&M tops, using each of their item descriptions, but they don’t appear in the search results. I’m just wondering how people are supposed to find my items, if they don’t appear via searches. Any assistance is most-appreciated! 😃

katzkoz @horsesboutique hi....love the drawing. Well, they are there for sure. But...there's a whole analytic system to who's listing comes to the front of the line when searching. It's the wording and what the search engine comes up with. It's called SEO's.(Ull have to research that. But, it's there. Did Utry Ur exact wording?

horsesboutique @katzkoz Yes, that’s what I couldn’t understand. I used my exact wording, and my post didn’t come up at all (I tried several of my listings). I’m not sure if there’s something I’m doing wrong, or what? I figured that my item would come up at the very bottom of the thread in the worst case scenario. I’m at a loss. 😭

katzkoz @horsesboutique...i searched for mine too when I first started and had the same thing happen. Plus, the newer listings on the same item are almost always shown first. But I really wouldn't worry about it too much. Ur closet looks great and U have very nice things...just share them for more exposure...as well as sharing others.

katzkoz @horsesboutique My pleasure. I was thinking about this last nite and I am thinking too, tgatvsometimes they put things in different categories. I found my North Face HALF ZIP in the sweaters category and I listed it under jackets. Could be a glitz

horsesboutique @katzkoz Yes. My friend @mashy99 sent me a Reddit link that says there are Poshmark glitches going on, just like the ones we’re dealing with. Sounds like Poshmark needs a more powerful server? I emailed Poshmark this morning, and I’m waiting on a response now. I’ll let you know what they say. ♥️

horsesboutique @katzkoz This is the email from PM-Upon searching keywords/using filters we were able to locate your listings under the proper categories.W/the growth of PM there are more users/more inventory.Due to the high volume of similar listings it’s often diff to locate a specific listing.There are a variety of algorithms that go into the Showrooms/brands/search that are personalized towards each user.We can assure you that your listings are shown within these feeds as long as they’re in your closet.
