clarey1 Better for the shirt that you bought to smell good rather than smell bad. If you don’t like the scent of the fabric softener then wash the shirt. Why wouldn’t you wash the shirt before wearing it, especially during a pandemic!?! No need for negative comments, just wash it! 😳😁
