posh11mark Hi Lisa. I’m very interested in the Frye lace up boots size 9. I know this is a hard question to answer but in your opinion, would you say they run true to size? I wear a 9 and 9.5 normally. Also is the toe box roomy or narrow? Thanks for reading.

primaryclosets @posh11mark hi thank you for your interest. I too wear a 9/9.5 but I have a bad foot so I was never able to wear these sadly. The toe box is square but with soft rounded corners and although it's a true 9 the leather is so soft that Im sure it would give over time. I hope that helps. Happy Holidays

primaryclosets @posh11mark when they are laced up and zippered the top opening where your leg would go is 6" boot shaft is 16". Not sure if that's the measurements you're looking for?

primaryclosets @posh11mark hi again. sorry I was a few hours from home all day. I just got home. I measured my calf at the widest part and it's 14.5. then I put the boots on and laced and zippered and measured the widest part and it was 15.5 and fit comfortably.
